Easter Roast for One
The only time I made myself at roast at university and it was a triumph. I spent one Easter Sunday on my own in Second Year as I was working in Cardiff and comforted myself with a chicken roast with all the trimmings.
Hoisin & Ginger Meatballs
Meat and 2 Veg 'Pimped' with Kale and Pak Choi. I went through a meatball 'phase' in final year when I realised quite how easy they are to do. I rarely bought mince at uni outside of Spag Bols and chilli. This was a different use of such mince.
Sausage & Mash
A Sunday night classic at university, often made more interesting with roasted garlic mash, onion gravy, roasted kale and tenderstem broccoli. A home from home in my favourite bowl (that did not belong to me)
Christmas Day at 107
Our annual house Christmas day topped off with matching Christmas Pyjamas, Secret Santa, lots of Bucks Fizz and of course the Christmas Dinner made by our house mother.
Picky Bits Vol 1
We were a house that appreciated picky bits, especially around Christmas time. This one in particular consisted of pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, honey roasted carrots, gravy and camembert that was eaten whilst watching I'm A Celebrity.
Honey Chilli Chicken
A meal heavily influenced by TikTok and was most likely situated in the start of my obsession with TikTok recipes and food videos. My boyfriend often mocks me for quite how much of my FYP is dominated by food content.
Galentines Day Feast
For my lovely housemates 20th birthday, we had a galentines themed dinner with chocolate
